DPNN publishes the quarterly newsletter,"Bigger than Ourselves" which provides timely information, resources, and inspirational stories. DPNN offers quarterly educational and spiritual gatherings "God Teaches Us" and "God With Us" respectively, which include continuing education units (CEU's) from the University of Detroit Mercy. DPNN is linked between Parish Nurses, their faith communities, and its leadership. DPNN encourages and equips Parish Nurses in their vocation and outreach through education and fellowship.
DPNN partners with organizations such as the Community Network Program, Donate Life Coalition, and the Interfaith Health and Hope Coalition. DPNN promotes working relationships between Parish Nurses and nurse practitioners, physicians, health care facilities, faith communities, government agencies, and other organizations. DPNN is a consultant for Parish Nurse start-up programs for faith-based communities and whole health fairs.
